          On the approval of the National Academy of Sciences, India, Allahabad, DNA (Department of Biotechnology, Natural Resources and Awareness) club, came into existence in C.P.Vidya Niketan, Kaimganj, District Farrukhabad on 25th September 2007. The inaugural ceremony of this club was solemnized on the same date. The Chief Guest of this function was Mr. Sanjay Singh Yadav, PCS erstwhile City Magistrate of district Farrukhabad and Dr. Mahendra Kumar, MBBS, MS, Superintendent of Community Health Centre, Kaimganj was Guest of Honour of the function. Mr. P.Rath (Principal), Dr. N.D. Singh (Co-ordinator) and Dr. Manoj Tiwari (Assist. Co-ordinator) of the DNA Club managed lectures and visits according to the scheduled program issued by the NASI, Allahabad, throughout the year.
Dr. N D Singh and 4 Students of DNA Club participated in winter school conducted in Biotech park, Lucknow, from 15-17 Feb. 2008.
Our student members of DNA Club were given Herculean task of Survey Report regarding the flora and fauna of District Farrukhabad. They burnt mid – night oil and left no place untouched to collect authenticated information. This task was accomplished by the students satisfactorily under the best supervision and guidance of  Dr. N.D. Singh. The progress report was submitted to the NASI on 27th Aug. 2008.
5 Student members of our DNA Club bagged 1st and 2nd position in Regional Level Environment Awareness Science Speech and Poster Competition 2008, conducted by Directorate of Environment , Govt of Uttar Pradesh. Thereafter they participated in the State Level Science Speech Competition in Feb. 2009. All winner participants got citation certificates and cash Prize worth Rs. 41000/- as a whole.
In State Level Science Debate Competition organized by the National Academy of Sciences , India, Allahabad, (NASI), Master Aman Gupta & Master Aviral Bajpai both got second position. This competition was held on 5th June 2009.
Dr. N D Singh and 6 students of our school got the honour in VNSD, Kanpur on 11th Sep. 2009 for getting prize for their contribution in Environment and Biodiversity competitions.
We organized an educational tour in the month of September to visit Haridwar, Rishikesh and  Dehradun and to study Biodiversity. The tour lasted for 5 days from 26 September to 30 September,2009.
We have organized an Environment Awareness Rally on 11th Nov,2009. It was flagged off by Dr. Mithlesh Agarwal, Director C.P.V.N. group of schools.
On the occasion of Children’s Day i.e. 14th Nov. 2009, 150 students whose birthday falls in the month of November were gifted with a plant each to foster and cherish them in future.
We have installed two solar panels for harnessing  solar energy in our school premises. Its purpose is to give a message to give emphasis on solar energy as a renewable source of energy.
NASI shouldered our school with a responsibility to conduct district level debate and quiz competition on the following subjects :-

  1. Global warming is a myth, for Debate,
  2. Biodiversity and Environment, for Quiz Competition.

In these competitions, 6 schools of the district participated. It was conducted on 12th Feb. 2010 . All the Winner participants were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 501/- , 301/-, & 201/- each to 1st , 2nd & 3rd rank holders and with a citation certificate to each winner participant. Thereafter they participated in State Level Competitions conducted by the NASI from 16th Feb. to 19th Feb. 2010.
In Speech & Poster Writing Competition organized by Directorate of Environment , Govt of U.P., our 4 students participated in the State Level Competition after bagging 1st & 2nd positions at District and Zonal Level. In the State Level Competition also, all the participating students stuck their 1st & 2nd ranks. Miss Pritika Singh of class XI got 1st position in speech competition in senior category, Master Manu Agnihotri of class VIII got 2nd position in junior category, Master Akshat Tiwari of class II got 2nd position and Master  Arnav Chauhan of class V got 3rd position  in primary category. These students were guided by Dr. N.D. Singh to attend the state level competition which was held from 14th February to 17th  February 2010  at Directorate of Environment, Lucknow.
A delegates consist of the National Academy of Sciences India, Allahabad Prof. U.C. Srivastava, Mr. A.K Srivastava and Dr. Abhinav visited C.P. Vidya Niketan to ascertain the smooth functioning of the DNA Club activities running under the aegis of the NASI .They appreciated the  functioning  of the club whole heartedly on 19th April 2010.
Our  DNA club celebrated  International  Year of  Biodiversity   on 22nd  May 2010. Very prominent  personalities and eminent Scholars of the district were invited to grace the occasion and beseeched to spirit the massage of  the biodiversity conservation in the adjoining area.
On the same day Dr. N.D. Singh addressed the 550 Boys and Girls Cadets of districts  Aligarh, Etah, Etawah, Mathura, Hathras, Kannauj and Farrukhabad during the NCC camp under Col. A.K.Singh, Commanding Officer, 12 U.P. NCC Bn Fatehgarh.
On the eve of the World Environment Day i.e.  the 5th June 2010, all the members of  DNA club along with  class X & XII  students organized a big Environment Awareness Rally and visited main streets of  Kaimganj city with placards and shouting environment slogans. Dr. Mahendrea Kumar Mishra S.D.M. Kaimganj along with many social reformers flagged off the rally .The main motto behind the rally was to develop the awareness for the conservation of nature and natural resources and to make the city clean and green.
A special interaction programme with Nobel Laureate Prof. Richard Robert Arnst was organised by NASI, Allahabad at SGPGI, and Lucknow on 08 & 09 March 2011. In this programme Dr. N.D. Singh & 06 students of CPVN participated. He highlighted on the contribution of Industrial Oriented Research work in the service of mankind.
On 22nd April 2011 we celebrated “World Earth Day”. He emphasized on the environmental crisis and appealed to save our mother Earth from degradation. A lecture on study of  Invertebrate through museum was delivered by Dr. N.D. Singh.
On the Eve of International Biodiversity Day i.e. 22nd May 2011, An Environmental Rally was organized in the city under the guidance & Supervision of Dr. N. D. Singh alongwith student and teacher members of DNA club. The Rally was flagged off by Mr. Hari Shanker, SDM, Kaimganj. We also distributed pamphlets regarding conservation of  Biodiversity and sustainable use of natural resources.
On 01st June 2011, a lecture was delivered by Dr. N.D. Singh to the NCC cadets getting training under 12UP BN NCC, Fatehgarh during their camp in C.P.V.N. premises. Appx 550 Boys and Girls cadets from Bareilly, Aligarh, Mathura, Kannuaj, Farrukhabad & Hathras attended the lecture on the topics “The Environment and our responsibility, Environmental Legislation in India, Conservation of Bio-diversity, Medicinal plants and Career Councelling to NCC cadets.
DNA Club came into existence in Kamla Nehru Institute of Child Education, Lal Diggi and Vivek Nagar, District-Sultanpur (U.P.) on 25th January 2017. Mrs. Asha Singh  was the chief guest of the function. Dr. N.D. Singh delivered a lecture on the topic Endangered Species & Environment along with teacher members Mr. Rajesh Mishra, Mrs. Kaneez Fatma, Mr. Sumit Patel, Miss Smita Srivastava, Mrs. Meenakshi Srivastava and 100 student members.

In Winter School organized by the NASI ,Allahabad in University of Allahabad and in Lucknow at Biotech park & Regional Science city in which Master Pawan Dhuria ,Master Deepak Yadav ,Master Pankaj Vishwakarma and Master Adarsh Pandey under the guidance of Mr Sumit Patel were participated. In Science Story Writing Competition Master Pawan Dhuria of KNBSS, Sultanpur stood second position out of 25 DNA club from Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

          On the eve of the National Science Day celebration, Dr. N.D. Singh delivered a talk on Sir C.V. Raman and a lecture on the topic Biodiversity & Environment to teacher & student members in KNBSS, Lal Diggi & KNICE, Vivek Nagar, Sultanpur.
Last but not the least we are making our strenuous efforts to spread up the message of conservation of Biodiversity and protection of environment from degradation. Our approach should be eco-friendly. We have to give emphasis on sustainable development.  I conclude my report with a slogan
