ADMISSION PROCEDURE


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & MODES OF ADMISSION

  • To be eligible for the BA LLB Law course, applicants must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or institution.
  • They must have scored a minimum of 45% for Gen., 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST marks in the qualifing exam.
  • There is no age criterion to pursue the course.
  • As per Bar Council of India Legal Education Rules 2008, BCI: D: 2010 dated 30.11.2010 and circular No. 02/2010 dated 20.12.2010. Sec 5(b) and explanation:

    “Applicants who have obtained 10+2 higher secondary pass certificate or first degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method are eligible for admission in the integrated five year course.
    Applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation / post graduation through open universities system, directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are NOT ELIGIBLE for admission in law course.”

Admission Procedure

  1. The application form along with the prospectus will be available in the college office.
  2. Duly filled-in application forms, addressed to “Principal, Kamla Nehru Vidhi Sansthan, Sultanpur U.P. ” should be submitted directly to the Admission Cell.
  3. Incomplete forms will not be considered. All students who have taken admission provisionally, due to non availability of document etc., their admission shall be cancelled due to non submission of documents within stipulated time.
  4. Admission to the courses will be purely based on merit and personal interviews; admissions are at the sole discretion of the admission committee.
  5. All admissions shall be provisional and subject to approval by Awadh University Faizabad, on confirmation of the eligibility of the candidate.
  6. Students should carry all the documents in original as mentioned in the form and should submit duly attested photocopies of all the relevant documents at the time of interview/councelling process.
  7. Anti- ragging Affidavit is mandatory to be submitted at the time of admission.
  8. Minimum 75% attendance in each subject is compulsory as per rules.
  9. Cancellation of admission and refund of fees shall be as per the norms of Awadh University Faizabad.
Note: The Admission process / Eligibility is likely to change as per the orders / guidlines given by BCI / Dr. RML Avadh University from time to time.

List of documents required at the time of admission to the college

  1. Statement of marks of the qualifying examination of the University / College.
  2. Passing Certificate.
  3. Proof of Date of Birth.
  4. Transfer / Leaving Certificate & Chracter Certificate of the college last attended.
  5. Migration Certificate.
  6. Affidavit regarding Gap in Education (If applicable).
  7. Affidavit regarding the change in name in the original (If applicable).
  8. Caste Certificate (If applicable).
  9. Domicile Certificate (If applicable).
  10. Students must submit three Identity Card size photographs.
