About B.A. L.L.B. Course:

Bachelor of Arts - Bachelor of Legislative Law - An Integrated Five Year Law Degree Program. It combines the study of arts subjects with legal studies. The aim of the curriculum is to provide students with a thorough understanding of legal principles, procedures, and practices along with a strong foundation in humanities and social sciences. The arts subjects include history, sociology, and languages and the law subjects covered in the course include Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, and Contract Law, etc. The program equips the students with the necessary skills required for making a career in law.

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for the BA LLB Law course, applicants must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or institution.
• They must have scored a minimum of 45% for Gen., 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST marks in the qualifing exam.
• There is no age criterion to pursue the course.

Duration

• The course duration is five years, combining the study of law with subjects in the art. Some of the law subjects included are Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Contract Law, etc.
• The teaching method includes lectures, seminars, tutorials, court enactments, case studies, and internships.
• Assessments are done based on written examinations, assignments, research papers, presentations, moot court exercises, etc.
• Students undergo internships during their course of study
